RUBBISH Dedis will reduce lag due to poor player host selection and eliminate player host lag switching. They will not reduce lag due to poor player connection to host be host p2p or dedi. Put simply you will still see players with poor connections red bar to dedis. This is why good FPS have a report and ban feature for chronic red bars.

  • As i said its half the reason and fully understand that servers doesn't fix everything but its still taking content away from the buyers instead of people just being happy with what they have and yea maybe thats unfair but hey tough shit guys because if you were on the receiving end you'd be saying no to this entirely and don't deny it because your most definitely lying to yourself.

Your point is a little weak. Here's why; 1. If you want to drive a car you have to met the standards to register and participate so all road users benefit. 2. If you want to go to a sports match you have to buy your ticket and behave so all attendees have an enjoyable experience. 3. If you want to invest in the stock market you have to purchase your shares and follow the rules so all investors have a fair chance at a return on their investment. 4. If you want to play an online game you need to purchase, setup and maintain a stable (not expensive) connection so all players enjoy a largely lag free game. The examples are legion. When you are part of a group enjoying a collective experience you need to meet the prerequisites to participate so that all group members have fair and enjoyable experience. Call it ...... Karma ;)

So when i go to a sport game i need to pay to behave? Not quite the same, the driving one is almost the same but not really as you dont pay to learn to drive correctly and lastly you don't pay to follow rules do you. You can make examples from everything doesn't mean they are equal. Also nice pun

  • I like the vehicle analogy most and actually do find a relevant parallel. For instance, in America there are vehicle emission standards and people are required to have their vehicle emission systems tested periodically to ensure their emissions meet the established criteria. If the pre-requisite criteria are not met for a given vehicle the owner must repair the vehicle so it can meet the standard criteria; otherwise, the vehicle in question is not deemed fit for operation. So, if the owner decides to drive that vehicle anyway and gets pulled over he runs the risk of incurring fines/citations for driving a vehicle deemed unroadworthy. In this analogy, the vehicle is the individual's connection and its emissions are analogous to the quality of that connection. Good connection (passing emissions) means you meet the pre-requisite standards and you have no problem. Bad connection (failing emission's test) means you have two options: 1) try to fix the problem (improve connection quality); or, 2) decommission the vehicle (don't play game modes like PvP that require quality connection). THEREFORE, if you choose to ignore the pre-requisite standards you run the risk of a reprimand just like the owner runs the risk of incurring fines/citations. Now, I understand some folks don't have available options to properly improve their connection quality (option #1) which unfortunately leaves you with two choices, don't play or ignore it and play anyway. For those currently forced into the option #2 category, you can really only blame Bungie for adopting an inferior P2P system. Honestly, you can hardly blame those folks who abide by the rules and meet the pre-requisite standards for reporting folks who are clearly not meeting those same standards. Just sayin'...

Yes... But where is the content that the person is buying? Still not quite accurate but i do see where you were coming from. In the end its not fair to anyone in this situation. Also not having good internet doesn't endanger others in a practical situation like this.
