Snipers are fine the way they are, shotguns are the ones that need a nerf, the range is still ridiculously over powered, at least reduce the ammunition carry so players don't use it like primary 24/7. Every match there's always half the players constantly using a shotgun like as if it's the only gun in the game and it's very annoying.

I'm sorry that other people's play styles annoy you, maybe you should write a list of things we are allowed to do and the rest of us players can make sure we don't annoy you again.

They should at least remove close range scopes for snipers and decrease the aim assist. People are just spoonfed kills with that crap. Shotguns and pulse rifles need the nerf, auto rifles and fusion rifles need the buff, and I dont even know what the hell is wrong with my grenades lately. They dont do damage at all unless I stick someone with one.

But they arent, they are meant for long range kills according to destiny, so with the same logic they are using against shotguns, then they should NOT have a combat scope

The difference between shotguns and snipers are, snipers require having to hit a small point on a body while someone is moving. Shotguns you aim for the largest part of the body, or don't even ADS, fire and kill someone. Tell me which is harder to hit, a moving object, where you hit possibly the smallest part of the body for a 1 hit kill or hit the largest part of the body across the room. That is the reason Shotguns are being nerfed. Too easy to get kills with compared to snipers.

Only because 95% of players abuse shotguns in pvp, they need to nerf them or reduce ammunition carry so they don't overuse them.

I have been playing stars I can back yesterday to do my weekly crucible bountys and was met with snipers everywhere killing me and trying to kill me from shotgun range,I don't care about the shot gun nerf I will adapt but not changing snipers is a joke

My Crucible shotgun has rangefinder and from eight feet away won't even bring down somebody's shields down by a quarter. Tf you talking about?

I have this problem too. But other people with the same shotgun can kill me from a lot further away. Reason I dont make a big deal about my shotgun, though is because I only ever try to use it for really close quarters. Especially since it has terrible rate of fire and reload speed.

Snipers take actual skill, you gotta be precise. Shotguns take no skill, you just run in spray and pray to get the kill.
