Blue team could destroy the Avengers. A single splaser shot would cut Iron man in half. The hulk could be defeated easily if he remained human (Spartans sneak up on him) and the rest of the Avengers could be taken down by regular munitions.

Bruce said that he shot himself in Avengers 1 but he instsntly turned back into the Hulk.

As for the Hulk, it depends. Some iterations have Bruce incapable of dying as himself. Anything that could kill him just causes him to turn into Hulk. He's shot himself in the head before and just spat the bullet out as Hulk.

But if that's the case, then this argument is pretty pointless. He'd obviously win.

That's the problem. This just isn't a fair match. Every Spartan in Halo canon could try to take on the Avengers at the same time and still fail. Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk are essentially immortal in comparison to the Spartans. Captain America and Hawkeye could hold their own. Considering the membership of the Avengers isn't always consistent, they might have to go up against equally impossible opponents like Quicksilver, the robot guy whose name I forget right now from Age of Ultron, and even Wolverine, who is technically an Avenger. It's just a bad vs thread.
