Update 1.18
I'm getting a notification that I have to download an 18gig 1.18 update... Is anyone else getting this?
Aren't we already on 2.-something now?

Maybe was fixed, mine took 30 seconds started at 18.13 and ended at like 18.76

1 ReplySame here. Same thing happened with patch 1.17. On 1.3GB/18.150GB (4 hours left). I'm done. All i can say is that Battlefront just finished downloading... I don't think I'll be back to Destiny.

This appears to be the client version of the patch number. We apologize for the inconvenience but please continue your download. Additionally, some players are reporting that while the download says it's a full 18 GB, it's actually only downloading today's small patch. This is the expected behavior for PlayStation 4 downloads.

I won't be surprised if the next update of theirs will show up as Version 1.19 and be 18 Gigs as well...

This is the same patch we downloaded about 3 weeks ago! Patch 1.18 shouldn't be downloading again! Fix yo shit Bungie!!!!!

How can it be this hard to push out a small update that is taking people hours to download and blowing through people limited data plans on their ISPs. At 18GB, this is not a small patch and this needs to be address ASAP. I have never seen any kind of update like this unless it was for major changes.

Can't download this update. Says "preparing to download" stays forever at 81%, then says "error: unable to download" I have over 46gigs of hard rive space...

I'm downloading a full 18.150 GB, not just 100mb file that has to be "checked" against my Destiny install. This was one of the two or three last times I was going to launch Destiny and give it a chance to capture my interest. I'm running out of those, maybe in a few days.....

Yeah a lot of people are having the same problem, I'm not re-downloading another 18g of what I already have. Hopefully they fix this soon no destiny for me until the patch has been fixed!

yeah this is pretty ridiculous. update wasn't able to install so i had to redownload everything over again (not sure why). currently 5GB in after 3 hours...was pretty excited for iron banner and nightfall (for cloak and DNB) but i guess it's battlefront for now

Well apparently they can't seem to figure out how to send the update without the console thinking it is the full 18 gig it mostly just validates and downloads what is missing however.... Since the console thinks it is 18 gig it will not even make a good attempt if you don't have 18 gig free. SO WHAT I SUPPOSED TO SAVE 18 TO 19 GIG JUST TO DOWNLOAD A 100 MB UPDATE. apparently bungie thinks the answer is yes as this is the secknd update to do this. Come on.

It only took 10 seconds for my download. Preparing the download took like 5 minutes because the original file is 18GB. The actual file is only 30 mbs or so and the file starts off at 18GB's.

Considering all the high end releases the game world has seen bungie is probably too busy tripping balls on their shit glitching to comment back. I wonder how many people bought cod during the 10 hour download lol
