That's what I had to do to get my first and only Red Death. Although that seems to have a tendency to just not drop from engram's at all.

Yeah, I have Red Death but that was from the Year 1-> Year 2 process where we got a "free Year 1 Exotic" from someone in the Tower and mine was Red Death. So I ended up spending the 150 marks or w/e it was to get Red Death's Year 2 version. I have also had it drop as a duplicate. I still don't understand with Suros Regime though. It hasn't dropped once. I have ALL the Exotic Primary Weapons except for Suros & it's been like this for at least 2-3 weeks! Like I said before, I've had at least 3 Primary Weapon Exotic drops that were ALL duplicates when I had ALL the weapons except for Suros... which, with the "new RNG algorithm(s) for TTK that makes duplicates not happen much," is pretty weird. :p

Red Death on the other hand, I didn't get until the week Xur had the primary legacy engram for sale. I got two, one became a Hawkmoon and the second was Red Death. Of course, this was after a month and change, plus at least 6 primary Exotic engrams (which, except for two, all became 290 TLWs).

Yeah. I think that's what I'm gonna have to do. Most of the content right now to play is ALL pvp stuff, which sux IMO. I HATE pvp (and I don't even like to Raid). So, because of all this, I'm low as F-CK on Strange Coins so it's gonna be tough enough to buy just one Primary Exotic Legacy Engram, once it's even available from Xur!!! I solo a lot and since most of the stuff to keep gamers busy is all PVP shit (Iron Banner/Trials), my Strange Coins are mega low and I'm not playing much (Thank God for Battlefront tonight at midnight- lol)!
