Thats humanity for you. Im an Afghanistan war veteran and id gladly go back to the middle east to put some boot to ass. The Paris situation made my blood absolutely boil.

I agree it's sad but the war in Afghanistan was a fu.cking shambles and it was absolutely shit, and didn't help. I blame the government, not the troops, though.

Exactly. The govt. Has turned the entire war on terror into a shit show. The current rules of engagement and counter insurgency is whats getting the troops killed. Not only that but Afghanistan is too tribal and hostile of a region to stabilize. Just look back to Russia's failed occupation of the country and you'll see how ridiculous it was for us to even go there.
