You would've had me if you never mentioned a shader. I'm sorry and this is going to sound cynical as hell, but I think when Nepal happened most of the people who bought the shirt didn't care about those people they just wanted the shader and emblem.
My response to this is pretty much the same. People would only donate for the shader and not because they care.
TL;DR- You shouldn't get rewarded because you donate. It's supposed to be out of the kindness of your heart.

I agree with you, but it's not about the people who donate, it's if they donate, if they want a shader, they want a shader, you can't do anything about that, but as wanderer said in another reply, wearing the shader and emblem could bring somewhat awareness. As long as they give money to donate, right?

Edited by HederaFox: 11/14/2015 8:59:23 AMI agree bro. Not to be that way, but if you're donating, you're donating. If you're doing it for a shader, you're doing it for a shader.

Sometimes the bribe is worth it, if it motivates people to do something good.

Honestly, for the most part I agree with you. But unfortunately that's simply not how most fundraising and donating works these days. People usually need something in return even if it's super tiny. It makes them more likely to give. Humans are selfish beings, but it's also why I came up with the shader idea. If you read fully, I even said its not about the shader. But you could also argue wearing the shader brings awareness to it and other people look it up, learn then donate themselves.
