Yeah, too bad the companion app freaked out and dismantled it when I tried to equip it :( Explains the redacted bit

Don't use the app. And don't leave it equipped.

Actually... I think I'll do it for my Taniks cloak

You can go to the tower and pull it out and equip it. Then run around all you want and put it back in the vault. Doesn't scape until you go to orbit.
