Black spindle quest too hard!
The quest for the black spindle on the lost to light daily is almost impossible. It's supposed to be 240 light level. It's much harder than 240 bungie!! It seems like its 310 the wa you die a lot. And I also recommend either making it a tad easier orr giving us extra time because there's no way 10 minutes is enough to complete the mission if it's gonna be this hard! Some of us can't even make it to the door its that difficult. I would greatly appreciate it if it was easier or we had extra time. It's just too hard

Got it 2nd try. I'm 313 light. BEST TIP I CAN GIVE ANYONE. Have a sunbreaker take out adds while the other 2 take out boss. Also, RED DEATH or SUROS REGIME are divinely inspired for this challenge...

You claim there is no way 10 minutes is enough time when in fact it clearly is because I literally do not know a single player without it. Are you trying to solo this or going in with a fire team? You need to kill blights first. Place a BOL next to the boss and use swords to dps. You should have a couple of minutes to clean the rest of the ads. Never make things easier. Make your self better.

4 RepliesTried it last nt like 5 times.. Had a 300 , 298 , and a 297 Had the boss beat every time, just ran out of time clearing room.. Xtra frustrating.. Ill be up to par by next roll.. Any tips?

The actual fight to the boss after the elevator is 300. And that being said, I got my first Black Spindle with relative ease as a 285 Warlock. Now I'm over 300 with every character and have no problems at all. It's really quite easy with a half decent team at an appropriate light level.

Take your time getting to the door. No timer, you just can't have a team wipe.

The light lvl changes once you go to that area I think 290 but ur post doesn't help you today lol

It's very possible to complete. I did it with a group and beat it with almost 3 minutes left. The biggest thing is getting through the first couple rooms extremely fast.

Helped my friend got it on our first go. Kill blights and get someone w a sword like the raze lighter.

Did it in one run, only 1 of us had done it prior to yesterday. One guy with sleeper simulant focuses on the boss, other 2 focuses on ads and the shadow orbs. Once the boss goes down everyone whips out their swords and supers and force the ads to have very uncomfortable relations with your guns.

1 ReplyThe first time I did it, I was on my Hunter at 290 light. 1 defender, 1 sunbreaker, and my nightstalker. the others were also 280-290 light. Just use the Blessing of Light for extra health, the Black Hole + Light of the Pack for extra damage and orb generation, and Hammer of Sol clears the lower HP adds fast. Second time we had out exotic swords and around 295-300 light *i.e. Normal Raid wasn't out yet*. Raze-Lighter burns through enemy health ;) while 2 Dark-Drinkers made quick work of the hoards. Just find a sherpa, at 311+ the mission is a joke.

240 refers to the normal part the secret area is a special variant that is an increased light level

I was 280 when I got it. You can do it to, keep at it, find a good team, you'll get it. It's 100% worth it when you finally do get it.

your right it is a bitch but with swords it goes way better, also having a bubble is great, i ran it today with two randoms and used boltcaster and defender and we wrecked those muthas, i didnt get it till today, tried about 8 times prior to this i agree it is very frustrating. are you running it with good players?

Well the mission Lost to Light is 240, how you acquire the spindle is NOT through the standard level. I'll admit it's hard, but it rewards an exotic that is amazing. Keep at it man, you'll get it.
