So let's sum those 2 up. The Vex created a machine, named Quria, Sword Transform. Quria was tasked with finding out Oyrx's secrets and destroying him. It got into his Throne World and captured some Worm Larve. It then commanded its sub minds to worship the larve to learn their secrets.
Ooh! Good connection. It's been so long since I've been into the Black Garden that I'd totally forgotten about its Heart. It makes perfect sense, the Sol divisive protecting the Heart appear to be incredibly old, and the Books of Sorrow explain that the capture of the Larvae took place some thousands of years ago. Overall I think the theory is solid, except for the part about the Ahamkara. While Akka may have "great and coiling length ... folded jaws and curled wings." it does not make him an Ahamkara. If you remember, Oryx simply decided to grow wings one day. I imagine, with the seemingly unlimited power granted by The Deep (The one who fuels the Worm Gods and their Larvae) Host species would have the ability to transform their shapes at will.

 • Maybe not proof, but something interesting. Book of Sorrows Verse V:
It’s dead, but it still speaks to me. It says: listen closely, oh vengeance mine...
Young Ahamkara's Spine:
Give me your arm, oh bearer mine. Let me help the world with teeth.
Claws of Ahamkara:
Look at all this life, oh bearer mine. There is so much left to burn...
Skull of Dire Ahamkara:
Reality is the finest flesh, oh bearer mine. And are you not...hungry?
Sealed Ahamkara Grasps:
Plating the Ahamkara bones in silver helps to quiet the auditory hallucinations...oh bearer mine.
• Sorry. There's not nearly enough evidence to convince me the Worm Gods are Ahamkara. Also... Judging by the size of the bones used in all the Ahamkara-related armor, they're not that big. I mean, Cayde even calls them Critters. A word typically reserved for creatures of a smaller stature.

 • Those were young Ahamkara. Those bones in that room where you kill Crota's soul crystal. That is an Ahamkara

 • I'm going to assume you have a source for that. I'd much like to see it. Otherwise. No. The Ahamkara and the Worms are not the same.
