bungie killed the excitement
everyone has the same weapons and armor again even though they said that was the whole reason for 2.0, to add variety
they took away everything we loved, yr 1 weapons, elemental primaries
nerfed material drops, took away bonus rep from nightfalls, -blam!-ed up the raid drops
they really -blam!-ed up with ttk. I loved everything about year 1, but year 2 has been a disaster
and then on top of that bungie feels they have the right to be condescending and disrespectful to its players

The only problem with the elemental primaries is that if you have them, that's all you'll use PVE Fatebringer and VoC were my babies for strikes, nightfalls, and prison runs. I couldn't agree more about the nightfall being f'd up. No bonus sucks shit. Also, conspiracy theory is just a y2 felwinters sniper.

not true. only reason everybody used elemental primaries outside of nightfall and burn modifiers were bc they were the best weapons VoC and fatebringer would be awesome even without the burn

HoW was the right direction but make etheric light rarer
-
my only problem right now is the rarity of the weapon parts :|

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have to disagree. The lack of elemental primaries (besides zhalo) leads to people using whatever they want instead of 3 raid weapons (one of each type). And remember that everyone used the same thing for the first couple weeks to 2 months in HoW like we are now.

No one used Fatebringer because it was elemental, they used it because of how broken the perk rolls were. So that argument really doesn't work... If this was the case everyone would use a variety of weapons with elements.

The only reason people used word of Crota was that it was void. The only reason people used fang was that it was arc (satrienne rapier had the exact same perks but with firefly and outlaw). Vision of confluence: outside of the vault people used it for solar Atheons epiloigue Trials primaries (besides messenger) Fatebringer was the exception.

Just to tldr it, slayerage said the elemental system is bad. From this I got that the lack of elemental primaries and the inconsistency between good and bad and OP weps caused people to only use a few primaries to burn through tanky shields. Your point is pretty valid, but it still comes down to lack of elemental primaries and shitty elemental weps.
