  • Ever heard of Google? Don't worry it took me .5 secs to look it up and here is. What you should find is that winning against another group of players increases your combat rating proportional to their team average. Losing to another group will do exactly the opposite, remove rating from you inversely proportional to their average. What does this mean: Lose to high skilled players (>your rating), lose very little ratingLose to equal skilled players (=your rating) lose little rating Lose to low skilled players (<your rating) lose LOTS of rating Win against high skilled players (>your rating) win LOTS of rating Win against equal skilled players (=your skill) gain little rating Win against low skilled players (<your skill) gain very little rating This is a basic skill metric that precludes any other stat. If you're familiar with how WoW arena ratings worked, this is similar. The system is such that you begin with a set number and are matched against players closest to your number. Beat these players and gain. Repeat until you can no longer beat these players, at which point you are sent down a bit. Eventually you are bouncing within a small bracket of players near your true skill level until your skills improve.

  • OK, thankyou. This is all I wanted to know. Google gave me poor answers that brought me nowhere.
