Destiny was my first...
...and LAST Bungie game.
I can honestly say I have never bought a Bungie game until Destiny. That's right Halo sucks; tried it once and knew it sucked compared to Quake, Battlefield, and Unreal Tournament.
Destiny has been like my first girlfriend. Exciting at first. Glad to be together. Talked about how great everything was going to be.
Then came reality. You never shut up. Lies are constantly spewing from your mouth. You don't look good compared to all the other fish in the sea.
Bungie I'm glad we had a year to get to know each other. We had some good times, but I now know you're a gold digging slut.
God speed and may God have mercy on your souls.

Hahaha it's a hamster wheel. No end goal, just keep grinding and grinding to get where you want and once you reach it, they make you rebuild the entire hamster wheel again just to make you run it again with a new DLC

Quake MP via QuakeWorld stayed alive all the way into 2005. If I'm not mistaken there's actually been a QW rebirth. QWTF was a phenomenonal competitive experience, all the while balancing multiple classes. QWDM was insanity when you played against players who understood map control. QWCA made for some of the flashiest fights I've ever seen in competitive FPS. Gone are the days of rocket jumping, rocket juggling your enemy, shafting the enemy into the sky box, and mobility based of skill rather than automatic clambering. The persuit of "realistic" FPS has ruined FPS.

Bump. I have played Halo, but Destiny was also the first Bungie game that I bought. Unless some [i]seemingly amazing[/i] changes are made, I'm right with you - it will be my first and last game by Bungie. First game I got to play from bungie was halo reach. I was not impressed, it was meh. Was not really planning on getting destiny but it came with my ps4 as a bundle. I enjoyed the game but it was severely lacking in content so I bought the season pass. The dark below was grabage but I still looked forward for house of wolves maybe because I already paid for it. Sad to say that expansion was a piece of shìt as well. I was not planning on buying the taken king but eventually did because it looked promising and I thought bungie learned from their mistakes. Well fùck you bungie! This expansion is a joke as well. Can't believe people are actually praising you asshats for halo when destiny sucks so much ass. Halo might have been good because of microsoft's guidance but without them you guys are NOTHING.

...disappointment in Bungie. I knew what they were capable of and I wasn't worried for a second Destiny was going to be the most epic game ever. If only I could go back in time and warn my previous self. Though would my past self even believe me?
