1 ReplyPart of what your experiencing is visual recoil versus actual recoil. As in, it looks like your sight is up above their head due to the recoil, but the barrel is still pointed at their head. Also, everyone knows this is how AA works on primaries. It does increase bullet pull. However, snipers are different and there is no increase in bullet pull relative to AA. They all have the same amount of bullet pull. The slowing intensity of the scope is the only difference for snipers when it comes to AA.

From what I can see. It appears that the targeting system is set to track if the shot is fired before the target moves. Therefore- if the reticle is set on the target the shot is fired it will track said target. This is speculation. It is not accurate at all, by any means and is subject to change. This is nothing more than a simple guess.

1 ReplyI get called out for my conspiracy theory all the time but I believe that just like auto aim and other stats we don't understand, there are hidden roll stats for each character, causing some people to be bullet magnets, and others harder to hit. I've watched videos of some of the "best" players and they never take any damage. That's absurd. Whereas I have a video of myself, behind a defender titan, he's taking fire and pops his bubble, and I died through the bubble.

Holy shit! I always knew this was a thing but wow, that is rediculous. Further strengthens the idea that there needs to be a crucible mode that gives everyone the same stats and stock weapons/armor.

Not sure how this means destiny requires no skill. If you mean in the context of lining up crosshairs over a player's head, yes you're correct. But just because players score more often in basketball doesn't mean it requires less skill than soccer. It's just a different type of skill set. Yes, a skill set that doesn't conform to a typical FPS archetype, but one that exists by some metric nonetheless.

It's not just "scope drag", you can clearly see the shit going for his head when the person would have missed. Thanks for the good video, I never got solid footage because of my low storage space. Definitely one of the easiest FPSs I've ever played, and I'm fine with that. I just wish other people would realize that most of the time, their montages don't mean anything xD
