Probably because Titan fall has dedicated servers(not sure if that's true). Destiny has p2p (you should look what it is and why it would cause connection problems) which relies on players connection. mainly if your fire team leader internet sux then you will be affected.

Dont think your right when i run nightfall with players with 200 mbit down and 18 mbit up that we have bad connections every other game works fine. Even we get booted while my internet connection is ok . Told it before connections have 2 sides. The one from bungie is not always ok, they blaim players for bad connections well bungie show me your specs to proof it. Payd 120 euro for a game online that is sometimes unable to keep connected . The broadband connections in the Netherlands are the best in the world we are way ahead. Please dont blaim us because our internet is superb .

Edited by Stormtrooper V1L3: 11/3/2015 10:56:21 AMI know what p2p is (no joking, I'm actually a server operations manager in the USAF). P2P connections hardly account for the widespread inability for people to even sign on last night. To even get into the game you must contact a Destiny server and that is where the break down happened for many people. "Destiny creates connections between your console, Bungie’s servers, and other players in a unique way. Network performance in other games and applications is often not a good indicator that you are set up to get the best Destiny experience." The above quote is from the network troubleshooting guide on this forum. After reading this, I'm wondering what Bungie's server admins think is a good "indicator" for network performance. That final line can be comprehended as this: "Just because you can Google search, stream Netflix, play Halo, run World of Warcraft, video Skype, and have VoIP phone calls on your internet connection at the moment, doesn't mean the fault is ours. It's probably just your shoddy ISP. Destiny is fine." That's garbage.
