You can respect authority, but just like the Wizard in [i]The Wizard of Oz[/i], the administration is incapable of knowing what the Hell it's doing. I swear to Christ the Moderators on /v/ are probably the most awful people to ever be allowed to use the internet. They'll delete threads regardless of it's worth to the board while allowing threads with hilariously shallow prefaces for derailed discussion to shit up the front page. If they're bitter or moody, they'll just ban a user at random and if needing to give a reason they can just opt for the lazy "Don't post garbage outside of /b/" rule violation. Then after a long day of contributing nothing to the community and hindering the quality of the board, they'll jerk off to loli and cry themselves to sleep at night. The point of what I just said is: You can respect authority, but that doesn't mean the authority is particularly smart.
