I don't think it matters, I was 258 in trials wearing a year 1 crucible cloak, yr 1 TLW and a mask. And was still wrecking 300+ in trials lol

They made it sound like the light level system was going to matter overall in the game That's not the case You can be like you said, 258, and still wreck people Whereas in PVE, Godforbid you're 258 and on oryx... You simply will not live The light system is broken in PVP They need to fix it or trash it
