Suggestion: flawless players have separate matches
So... 5 and 0 we get matched with a team that's all rocking the lighthouse emblem, and they absolutely destroy us.
Now, crap happens, but why are the rest of us "scrubs" being stomped on by people with nothing more to gain?
Maybe I'm just whining, but I think once you've gone flawless, you should be matched with other flawless players.
Edit: You're right. The lighthouse should be earned. Apparently going flawless against a card of teams isn't "earning" it. Sounds stupid when you put it that way, doesn't it?

1 ReplyI went flawless once - was blind luck..... never managed it again. With regards to your post. I'd suggest they do it on a weekly basis. If you've went flawless that week you meet other flawless players - resets every week.

Well actually your wrong ppl who have gone flawless are most likely playing another character they haven't gone flawless on that week , the probably just pulled the emblem from the kiosk

Happened to us a few times! Absolutely fly to 5 wins tougher between 5-7 & then well beaten after 7 wins. If they weren't allowed to continue playing though, people would just make it to the lighthouse by grinding it out all weekend/ not playing till Monday when most people have already gone flawless.

The "flawless "people probably had to beat flawless people to get to the light house. It's not meant to be done by everyone, if so it wouldn't be rewarding or a feeling of accomplishment. It's made to be a tourney to distinguish the best PVP players in crucible.

yep,i went flawless and i agree, but before i went flawless ive encountered the same issue as you most matches but my team rekkkkt them, all you need is strategies

I can understand what you mean for teams that have all gone flawless on all 3 characters that week and are simply playing to keep others out of the lighthouse.... However I go flawless every week that I play trials. It's always with a pick up group off the forums and none of us have amazing stats (I'm averaging a 1.44 trials specific K/D lifetime on my hunter (primary crucible character). So my suggestion to you is practice. Find decent people that can communicate well and hope that RNGesus doesn't stack you against 2 teams in the same card that just absolutely destroy you. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes you're 8/1 and playing for the lighthouse trip (because that one loss was burned by your mercy) and you lose... and then you run again and its 4-4 and you're in the same boat as the last card and you and your band of makeshift brothers pull together get some good kills with your good skills and you get a shitty scout rifle from the lighthouse chest. Just sayin.

9 RepliesI carried 10 teams to the lighthouse today, which is for the most part all i do anymore. As i understand your frustration, how would you match 50/50 teams? You couldnt, logically, unless you were to match with other blended teams of flawless and non-flawless. Overall, youre asking Bungie to do too much, for what? So you could have a trip to go to the lighthouse. My point being youre asking for help instead of fixing the only problem, you.

NOPE! let's use something arbitrary like; wins on a card. I mean THAT'S SO much better then ACTUALLY doing something that would streamline player experience.
