I agree. As long as it's for lesser loot, could serve as a stepping stone for people to get to the real raid.

Elitists and badge holders, don't want anyone to get anything they have easier then they did. Bungies fault to have items like gear drop only in hardest levels instead of cosmetic only items like the ships, shaders and emblems.
