Expansion content that dissappears out of thin air when a new DLC is out, is not what a player with common sense should aim.
We do not ask to provide us for free any Y2 content- no L40 no Y2 gear or levels ( Although I know a hack to play several TTK levels for free without purchasing TTK see spoiler below)
We want to keep PURCHASED TDB, HOW activities and Y1 currency and gear ... well ...ACTIVE.
Just run a strike and before completing it at the end start running it backwards
Your hack doesn't work. I tried that but the TTK part is too easy. One modification: if you don't kill anything and try this the game becomes a retro style platformer, just see how many laps you can do on three lives. 99 lives if you know the right button combo.

TTK was never meant to be difficult just because you run the level backwards. It is of the same difficulty either you run in forward backward diagonally etc. You face the same enemies. The bonus mini game is when you have to go to the end of level without killing anyone. Avoid the bullets, like playing Galaxian. But I liked your modification. It reminded me the days of wonder boy 1 in arcades. In each round you kept running practically the same level with minor modifications in the scenery till you die. Your modifier could be used in the nightfall versions of these strikes.
the sequel, wonder boy in monster land was a huge improvement
yep, though i like to give a little room for opportunity. if you HAVE to remove content, at the very least replace it.

that is a reasonable solution too
