EDIT: To be fair, I really don't give a shit if you can get a fking year 2 Gally from doing ToO. I went to the Lighthouse before, I'll go again. Check my Titan for proof. I could switch the others over, but it's really not that important to me. I'm sure it bothers some of the l337 PvPers here that someone as shitty as me in the Crucible can go to the Lighthouse. I may have been carried, but so what? You think that it really matters in the grand scheme of things? Most of this was a post was the result of boredom and the inability to go to sleep. It was fun. There sure are some people here who could learn what it means to be able to have your own opinion. The ONLY thing that actually bothers me is that you will be able to buy ToO gear. That's it. I know there won't be any elemental primaries. Even though the ToO weapons were removed from the Armory, I can still view some of them and know very well that they are not elemental. And last but not least, those that go undefeated and reach the Lighthouse, congrats, you deserve your rewards.

I mean really. One of the main reasons people Raid is for the Adept primaries. Sure there's more to it than that, but it's not like you can get Raid tier weapons and Armor anywhere else, right!? Wrong. ToO will have armor and weapon drops up to 320. Oh, you say that's no big deal? Have you seen the Armory? They're also getting adept primaries.
Eff this. I'm pretty sure that if Bungie doesn't stop trying to force us to play the game how THEY want us to play it, coupled with the fact that they pander to the PVP community, they won't see year three.
Edit: one of my biggest issues is that you will be able to buy ToO gear. You cannot buy Raid gear, so why be able to buy ToO gear?
Also, please remember that Destiny started off as a wannabe MMORPG. Now it's focus has shifted to be more balanced between PvE and PvP. This cannot be. This game will implode if they continue to try and be CoD and WoW, at the same time.

They've already said elemental primaries are going out the window. The adept weapons don't have element burn.

3 RepliesThe only problem I see is that trials if you go flawless it gives you a guaranteed drop, but when you do kingsfall all it gives you sometimes is shards? Seems kinda shitty pve players only get a chance to get the best gear

Idk about you but I do raid for moldering shards and antiquated runes. Since that's what the game gave me every boss battle last night it must be what I wanted.

Why give elemental primaries to the side of the game that doesnt need it? They want pve'rs to play pvp.

Adept meaning primaries with elemental damage? I'm fairly sure that's not happening - didn't Luke Smith say directly that he took elemental primaries out of the game (with the exception of the supercell)?

The game will last way beyond year 3 scrub.. tough if you think the game is only to be played how you want. it will never be that way, for it is not YOUR game it is THEIR game so yes they do get to decide how it plays and what is gotten where or why or what level, not you ever.

Shut up kid, the raid is boring and trials is my way to level up in this game. It has always been a shooter in the first place and not an mmorpg. Go play you wow or wathever mmo you like, but this game is primarily a shooter.

PS there is not adept primaries for trials 2.0 That was old data base, before Kings fall came out, someone datamined hard rewards with elementals. They jsut haven't update it. Which is why no time to explain isn't in the armory

1 ReplyOf course they do they created a pvp game with a campaign. They just toss snipets out every know and then for the PVE community but praise their lack luster fully glitched pvp. I dint buy this game for that miniscule shitty aspect. Fallout 4 baby, cant wait for that epic masterpiece.

As long as it's RNG light and drops I'm fine with it. No way should PvP be guaranteed drops at max light levels when the raid doesn't even guarantee either.

If their are no elemental primaries(there are none) there is no point in trials and I would much rather just raid and not deal with cheaters.

You can the same shit from the raid, but being a crucible player(not a good one but one of them) would you like to be forced to do a raid? Its the same thing as if there was no raid but there was trials, you'd be forced to do trials.
