EDIT: To be fair, I really don't give a shit if you can get a fking year 2 Gally from doing ToO. I went to the Lighthouse before, I'll go again. Check my Titan for proof. I could switch the others over, but it's really not that important to me. I'm sure it bothers some of the l337 PvPers here that someone as shitty as me in the Crucible can go to the Lighthouse. I may have been carried, but so what? You think that it really matters in the grand scheme of things? Most of this was a post was the result of boredom and the inability to go to sleep. It was fun. There sure are some people here who could learn what it means to be able to have your own opinion. The ONLY thing that actually bothers me is that you will be able to buy ToO gear. That's it. I know there won't be any elemental primaries. Even though the ToO weapons were removed from the Armory, I can still view some of them and know very well that they are not elemental. And last but not least, those that go undefeated and reach the Lighthouse, congrats, you deserve your rewards.

I mean really. One of the main reasons people Raid is for the Adept primaries. Sure there's more to it than that, but it's not like you can get Raid tier weapons and Armor anywhere else, right!? Wrong. ToO will have armor and weapon drops up to 320. Oh, you say that's no big deal? Have you seen the Armory? They're also getting adept primaries.
Eff this. I'm pretty sure that if Bungie doesn't stop trying to force us to play the game how THEY want us to play it, coupled with the fact that they pander to the PVP community, they won't see year three.
Edit: one of my biggest issues is that you will be able to buy ToO gear. You cannot buy Raid gear, so why be able to buy ToO gear?
Also, please remember that Destiny started off as a wannabe MMORPG. Now it's focus has shifted to be more balanced between PvE and PvP. This cannot be. This game will implode if they continue to try and be CoD and WoW, at the same time.

1 ReplyI see it as even. The pve players get 320 gear, and have will of light to do more damage to taken enemies, which is extremely useful in the raid. Trials gets 320 gear as well

11 RepliesIt takes more skill to complete flawless trials, than it does to kill AI that follow the same pattern lol. A 5 year old could get the pattern down and kill oryx. Playing against other people is much harder because of the unpredictability. If you disagree just quit life.

25 RepliesLol bungie giving out that 320 gear to trials players, meanwhile were over here getting shitty drops from HM it will take us 5 times as long to level up than it will a good trials player. Shit they get unlimited runs for 5 days straight and guaranteed good drops when they make it. Were over here finishing the raid for shit drops once a week per character. Get the -blam!- out of here bungie......-blam!- you. This isnt a slam on trials players, I know yall do your thing, its hard, and yall deserve some cool shit for it, but raiders are getting the short end of bungies stick again, and its -blam!-ing bullshit. 1 ReplyThe only problem with this game is that if you play pvp, it can equip you for pve. Kinda silly. They should have separate gear sets. Raid to get better gear for raiding. Pvp to get better gear for pvp. They shouldn't be interchangeable

3 RepliesI got one pair of boots/gloves that were above 300...none above 310. Did all the bountys on 3 characters, even went to the lighthouse on 1. RNG screwed me on all of it . Not a complaint, I'll get the gear eventually, but it's not like everyone has the luck to get 320 gear. (&I've beaten HM KF , just would like alternate armor)

2 RepliesAs someone who is above average at PvP and completes HM raids with ease, 9-0 in trials much much harder to me. I don't think I am skilled enough to go 9-0 or teach my friends to achieve 9-0. However, I coached my friends through HM oryx and Crota. It's just my opinion, but I love that PvP players get rewarded for being good. Good luck to all Trials players.

Also if bungie have done what they've said and made it so that you are matched against higher skilled enemies the further through your card you go you really think you're easily going to get 320 trials gear?
