"Imprecation" - worst gun, worst quest. Help?! (Xbox 360)
This is an awful quest. Firstly, I wasted two legendary weapons just to infuse this "Imprecation" gun up to a measly 260. I managed to complete the first two parts of the quest without help, but it was hard.
The third part of the quest is a problem. I just spent 2 hrs in the Crucible trying to get a 7-kill spree, but couldn't get a single kill! This gun is bad, but it's hopeless up against players using properly powerful weapons. Is there anyone who wants to help me out in a Rumble game to get those seven kills? I'm on Xbox 360 and do not use a mic.
Bungie really need to sort out their quest line instructions. It seems like they're making it up as they go!

I feel you, I did it in Skirmish with a full fireteam eventually. I could have boosted in one game of rumble but f_that. I played for a couple hours by myself trying to get it until some friends helped me out. The gun is horrible.

1 ReplyIf you cant use this gun, then you cant use the first curse. Plain and simple. You have to appreciate the basic before you use the intricate. Now that that's out of the way, the 7-kill spree may be done in PvE, but you need triple tap to take effect for that to happen. Most people mentioned the mission the dark below, where waking the hive will send mobile cannon fodder your way. Done. In the crucible, you need to get 7 headshot kills in 1 game. Just one. The best way to do this is to follow a team mate (much easier with a fireteam member) and clean house. I got it done in control. Some say skirmish works as well. Good luck to you.

How does anyone hit anything with imprecation? I'm no hand cannon guru but this guns just feels horrible.

I barely get 2 kills in a game, and haven't stepped foot in the Crucible since August. I will be abandoning this quest today. I'm PS4 so I can't help, too.
