If the devil punishes the sinners, why is he considered evil? Shouldn't he be god's right hand man since he's punishing the wicked?
Or even still, if he is evil, wouldn't he welcome his fellow heathens with open arms instead of torturing them?
It really does make no sense.
I personally think that any belief that has someone putting the wants of their god over other human beings is in fact stupid. It's a toxic mentality I wish we could let go of.

Not a Christian, but what I gathered from paradise lost is that the sinners are the devil's army. Also the devil just wanted to be God's equal, he did not want to overthrow him or whatever.

You clearly know little about the religion the devil used to be gods best angel but he thaught he was better than God so God caste him out he does not as you basically said work for god he is being punished as well and all though he knows in the end God wins he wants to take people with him .Don't judge something that you don't understand

He is not doing God no favors he hates Christians God loves them God wants to save Christians and the devil wants to harm them the devil is being punished how could you think he is helping god by torturing Christians is almost as if you tried to make a joke

Based on the bible and how Christians have explained it to me, god wants to save us from what he'll do to us if we don't let him save us. It's convoluted nonsense. There is also that time he tried to "help" us by drowning most of us. Thanks for the help.... The real evil is a dictator that tricks his followers into thinking he is the good guy. In this case though there's no reason to think he is actually real so Christians are more or less tricking themselves.

OK look God will send you to hell but you have a choice if you serve him you will go to heaven when Adam and Eve disobeyed God sin was unleashed upon us that is why God sent his only son to die for us so there is a way to get back out of sin . You see Adam and Eve were living perfectly without sin but they listened to the devil and ate of the fruit. So glad sent his only son Jesus to die for us so we can have a second chance . So if you accept Jesus into your heart then when you die you will live in heaven with him . But if not you will go to hell . see its all because Adam and Eve ate of the bad fruit and now we live in sin unless you accept God and go to heavon

Like I said, he wants to save us from what he'll do to us if we don't let him save us. It makes no sense. That level of belief is comparable to Stockholm Syndrome. We are victims of our own condition and this level of belief is arguably the epitome of it.
