No. The [i]only[/i] way micro transactions won't ruin this game is if they are for cosmetic items that have [i]no[/i] bearing on gameplay.

It's not a grey area. Microtransactions are cosmetic only. It's pretty black and white.

It could be worn over the top of a helm. That way it adds nothing and is still only cosmetic!
