Someone suggested giving everyone a Blade's of Crota style sword for the match (which would allow access for anyone who doesn't have a sword, locks out exotics, and gives more of an old school Grifball feel with the knockback effect). Blink could be an issue. A potential solution could include adding Weight of Darkness to the runner, so they can't double jump. It would force their team to block for them rather than simply letting them charge past everyone.

I don't honestly think blink would be that much of an issue if everyone had infinite ammo with swords and such. I think the real issue would be the arc exotic sword .-. That thing is basically a melee/thorn on steroids combo.

Well blink is a lot faster than normal running. And yea arc sword would be a real pain in the ass. And blink isn't normally a problem because everyone has guns, but if you have a spark runner who has blink and no one can shoot him he basically just gets the slam dunk everytime
