Seriously. The raid drops. It's week 1 of hard mode. Week 1. What is wrong with you people?
It's so unfair that the guy I was raiding with got Gjallerhorn. It's so unfair that I don't have Fatebringer....Hawkmoon....Necrochasm...
It sucks that I don't have an elemental primary so I can complete the Nightfall in 3 minutes on each character or solo Crota in 25 minutes.
If only I had got better loot, then I could make my own post of must be 313+ light cause that's the light of my highest character. Then after I get carried through the raid, I can make a post of must be 316+ light cause that's the light of my highest character......

The problem with hard mode is that it's pointless. What's the point in getting past 300? 310? There is nothing in the game other than hard mode that you need above 300 for. It's also going to mean whoever can best hard raid mode will also be best in trials. It's dumb and pointless.

Lol. Yeah, that's the grind.

Its not about the item, its about the light level, I think its stupid that doing hard mode you get normal mode drops with 295 light...

That's the point going right over your head. Remember VOG gear? Getting it prepared you for future runs and hard mode because the raid armor had specific perks for the raid itself while the weapons helped you do better not only in the raid but also Nightfall, where there was still compelling exotics worth trying to obtain. Compare that to the gear now. KF-specific armor perks are garbage by comparison and the weapons have very little worth while on them - mostly just cocoon which isn't that great, tbh. And when you DID get VOG or CE gear, you didn't get it at some random light interval. You didn't run VOG only to get an inferior version of your raid chest that you already had. His point isn't about loot dropping too slowly, it's about the fact that loot is now a multi-tiered RNG sh*tfest where, if you're lucky enough to get loot you also have to be lucky enough for that loot to be a decent light level AND a decent perk roll. Edit: And it's pretty damn telling that most people I see who have completed the raid have used the raid gear to infuse NON-raid gear.

That's what is all about now. Infusing. Before, when I got my 17th Atheon's Epilogue it was completely useless. Now every piece of raid gear is useful for infusing. And Cocoon and Will Of Light are both excellent perks for King's Fall. Being able to ToM, then 4 sniper shots, then 42 rounds from my MG , then 4 sniper rounds, then ToM, then 42 rounds from my MG.....without ever hving to reload. What more do you want? Bonus damage while Oversoul's Gaze is active? How useless was that?
