Edited by Alonfé: 10/26/2015 11:31:09 PMYou see the enemy approach in the distance, a scout breaks from the forest bearing news: the enemy force is of mainly cavalry; 40 in number, with 30 infantry medium, and 30 fighters. They seem to be at a disadvantage to ranged attacks, the scout says, but excellent in maneuverability and quick, decisive tactics. He also predicts a heat wave during mid-afternoon sun. He suggests caution in your decisions; they may affect your troop's health. You nod, looking to the approaching army. Only 10% of your men and theirs are visible, the rest still breaking the horizon. The time for tactics is now.

My archers whom are already placed in key points on the battlefield hidden in the grass are given the ready signal. My spearmen go behind my infantry with my cavalry flanking them. Before they leave i make sure they have water. My mages ready themselves to spam the hell out of the fireballs

Edited by Alonfé: 10/26/2015 11:52:12 PM
Good use of grass
The scout's reports are unable to be proven. The only enemy force you see is 20 cavalry, along with 10 infantry and fighters. The enemy is smaller than the scout reports, his look of befuddlement as bad as yours. The force approaches, however, not stopping. They get ever closer, almost within attacking range. You have one more turn to plan. The Scout speaks The heat wave begins after your next turn. Strategize wisely; heatstroke is best not underestimated.

The mages ready themselves and so do the archers. all of the men have light clothing to reflect the sun to keep them cool as well as keeping close to the edges to have the shade of the trees. Me and my mages are in a tent

The enemy, or what you see of them, charges. They seem to go for the smaller number, making a beeline straight for the archers. The cavalry's swift maneuvers bring them within striking range accepting a few losses, taking few spearmen with them. The retreating cavalry also take hits, as they pull away. The cavalry are easily taken by your archer fire, but they took some infantry with them, as they come in in waves, sweeping your front line with their small numbers. The fighters and infantry aren't visible, though; only the cavalry attack. Damage: Enemy -10 Cavalry You -5 Infantry M -1 Infantry H
