Did I say there is anything wrong with it? Having three characters is simply less work and less stress. Its a strategy but in this guys words - I am gonna call it cheesing 3 character to max level.

Oh thank you my friend. Seems like you and couple other VERY SMART people(pay attention to my emphasis on very smart) are calling it a cheese while game designers at bungie calling it a strategy. Maybe you should design the game.
