I just wish more women of today understood that feminism is not a synonym for radical-matriarch enthusiasts

In what context. Its roots or the modern incarnation?

Something to kick around in thought on this subject would be this: consider feminists actually openly identified to the world that their intentions were to oppress men and take superior power at any expense; how exactly do you think the world would respond at that point? Solution: call that same thing a word that was originally coined to mean acquiring equality for women who found themselves being very mistreated in a patriarchal society, that way it seems like opposing it as just as wrong saying you enjoy murdering blind orphans Sorry this doesn't answer your question directly enough, but I think it gets enough of point across while still holding meaning that expands upon my previous comment

Well, it kinda is, nowadays. Back in the 1800's? It meant the same thing as what egalitarianism means now.
