7.0 metacritic user score, not exactly bad by today's standards (AC Unity has a 4.7). 77 overall metacritic score. Don't get the hate claiming its getting too much praise. Seems like its being scored in line with the game's quality, as well as in line with the public opinion.

Well for long time AC fans like me syndicate sucks in all aspects

It's a yearly release. You need to temper your expectations perhaps. I've 100% sync'd every main line game in the series except for Unity, and in my mind there's absolutely no question that Syndicate is a huge step in the right direction.
