You've always only needed 3 plates for oryx
and no point in doing hard mode unless you want some dumb emblem...

also (this is complete speculation) but we now have 2 of the 5 emblems, leaving is with 3 left to obtain, and conveniently enough there are 3 currently unobtainable calcified fragments, which to me sounds like a perfect reason to speculate on there being more versions of said raid

Reading all your commend I get your point. If you can do hard mode (currently hardest pve thing) at 300 and Trials (currently hardest thing pvp) at 300 AND there is no major paid dlc till next year, then what's the incentive for 15-20 more light level if you can do it all. I guess for some it's going to be different reasons but I'm already only doing the raid only. Stopped doing NF and strikes are ok for quick fun. I'm not a pvp but I love IB but skipped it as it sucked from what I read and my friends opinions. Unless Bungie shows a carrot like the Vex or Necro (yeah much of a carrot) then why do hard mode if drops are crappy from RNG???

You da real MVP. If hard mode had exclusive exotics or weapons with more/ better perks I would actually bother doing it.

Getting to 320 is the goal now. Only way to do that is through hard mode. Seems pretty useful to me.

Every single dlc/expansion in this game has created end game activities which drop the highest rewards. King's Fall is no different.

Obviously you don't understand kid, the other DLCS had hard mode exclusive weapons like exotics and primary burns. This does not. There is no point in doing it.
