Maybe its called Defender because......well........its meant for defending. You just choose to use it offensively. I also would take the suppressor grenade over magnetic because your going to want to shutdown other peoples supers unless you want a Stormcaller tickling you out your bubble or a Sunbreaker knocking on your bubble door. Both are just as irritating as the other.

Not a half bad choice but you will always have to way the burden for your team for having one less lethal Super to help out if things get hairy. Yeah popping a bubble stops incoming damage but only for so long. Always that possibility your killed first or your finger slipped and there goes your grenade launched far away from the enemy or off the map. Defender in trials is a hard subclass to use well in that area but in the right hands it can be a force to be reckoned with.
