Im in singapore, and i do have kind of bad connections, but i haven't quite had a issue playing too much. ALSO! destiny does not have dedicated servers, they do a peer to peer connection and sometimes, if the latancy with outsiders is too high the game will not connect you to them. best way to get around i guess would be to have someone on your fireteam that is leader outside of the area, meaning they host the matchmaking and while they may not be the game's host, it should help connect you to the game.
be warned there have been players temporarily banned if they begin to benefit from bad lag.

Not a problem for me excellent internet.... play with my friends and im not banned. the problem is people in Mainly Korea are disconnected from other people. there are like 7-15 people who actually play on the entire server.... cant do pvp quests when u cant get a match. can't even get legendary marks unless I beg my friends.
