They could make double sided quests to fix this. Make it so you could do the quest by doing pvp or pve. Because if you think about it think of all the pvp only players that get stuck earning all of these weapons from doing pve. Its a stupid layout no matter what side you're on. Alot of players only play this game for the pvp. But they get stuck doing a bunch of mind numbing pve quests to get weapons they want for pvp.

What's sad is how people play this game for only pvp, which is the worst pvp game mode on the market right now. It burns to say it, but CoD has a better and more balanced pvp mode. How is that even possible? Bungie, the kings of pvp, -blam!-ed up pvp. Who would have guessed?

It's pretty subjective, I like pvp - definitely play it more being that I don't have time to go around getting fireteams and joining clans to play various pve modes. K thx

Exactly, Bungie should have taken note from the majority of other MMO(style-games) and provided separate PVP and PVE gear, even if it's just a re-skinned or re-coloured version. They should have their own separate quest-lines that do not require players to crossover play styles. Alternate paths would have catered for this preference. Instead we have a situation where people are joining crucible or Strikes/raids purely for a quest. These players are often not fully committed and leave once they have reached the objective. It diminishes both game styles and negatively impacts on all involved.

Nicely stated.
