My wife is a gamer. You will respect her and act civil or you will gtfo. That being said a sense of humor is required for any fire team. There are always people that like to tip toe on that line though and she has no problem letting them know when they are nearing the danger zone. But she doesn't invent issues. I find that some people (not just women) go into things looking for reasons to be pissed off and have a hair trigger. Be it because they didn't want to be there in the first place, feel inadequate and/or feel uncomfortable to start with. I try to make her and the rest of my team feel as comfortable as I can. And a little humor (silly but not annoying) can go a long way.

  • I don't expect anyone to alter their behaviour based on a girl/guy being in the party, nor would I change mine..as long as people are civil to one another it's all gravy. I've seen girls with chips on their shoulders as well as lads.

  • Nice spam of the same message and equally disturbing and weird.
