They claim it's because they want us "to make important decisions on upgrading and become more attached to the weapons we upgrade," which is total bull because how do we know that we like a gun until it's full upgraded?

This is the first time im angry and disappointed at bungie.. And think about ALL of those nerfs, sucky dlc's and weapon changes.. I didnt mind about them.. Just thinked "Cool.. Changes.. Im in.." but now..... This is the first!

And they want weapon variety, but how can we use a variety of weapons, when we can only use the ones we have upgraded, BECAUSE WE CANT GET WEAPON DROPS!

Just pisses me off and leaves a bitter taste. I would think you'd want people to feel good playing! Not grinding RNG bs. I don't mind work if you actually get something. But when it's all armor and the few weapons turn to motes it just enrages me :)

Exactly and logically you dismantel a weapon....... you get a mote of light...... ergo your gun is made of light..... ergo light is a element in the gun. Yet light isnt an element. And wtf is my 1000 year old guardian just so bad at dismantling weapons that I literally destroy the gun? So your telling me that I destroyed every single part of the gun so I couldn't get a weapon part after doing it well into the tens of thousands of times.... and then I magically get a mote or more than likely nothing. Bs

I thought the whole point of weapon balancing was so that we didn't just stick with one weapon? I thought I read that in the 2.0 patch update. Or something similar to that. Either way whatever the reason is, it doesn't really matter, it's an MMO, grind is real lol. Though they should tweak it a bit or allow us to buy weapon parts....and limiting glimmer is freaking annoying also. Just let us collect mass amounts of glimmer and buy parts.

Only limit is on how much glimmer you can carry. I put all my Axiomatic Beads, Silken Codex and such in my vault for a rainy day. I'm sitting on over 50K in liquid assets. Figured it would come in handy for Iron Banner but they went and changed all that to Legendary Marks.
