I think it's arbitrarily put in so that people keep playing their game.
I can not wait for Fallout 4... Soooo freaking done with this game after F4 drops.

I see this a lot 'they want you to keep playing the game' but it makes little sense. Would you really not play destiny until one of these missions popped up, then suddenly run back to obtain a weapon you won't use because... you know... playing other games. Personally, I think it's simply a result of a tonne of 'you didn't earn your ****' crap from year 1. I like the format, much better than simply rng/xur

Edited by Zegram1010: 10/21/2015 11:07:57 AMNa because i would rather play and earn my weapons at one time have fun and shelf the game again after I'm done with it till the next DLC... But they are *INTENTIONALLY* gating items and shit behind arbitrary walls to basically give the community crumbs here and there to keep them interested. There's nothing else right now. I bought TTK thinking I'll play the shit out of it until Fallout 4, but they are purposefully holding back content that I paid for, that's the key word there, these aren't updates with new things being introduced, this is on disc locked content until they feel like giving it out, it's soooo -blam!-ing shady. There is literally no redemption for Bungie, Fallout 4 and I'm out.
