I agree with what you are arguing for, but I disagree with that statement. Do you suggest subjects like Art or Drama should stop being taught, because neither of those two subjects educate people primarily using objective facts. They are based almost totally upon subjective opinion and interpretation.

That's obviously not what I was saying. I'm talking about schools that teach facts, not schools that teach arts.

All secondary schools or high schools teach both 'facts' such as maths and the hard sciences, and also art and drama (or at least all the ones I know of do).

It is. The "theory" of evolution isn't a cold hard fact, but we are pretty damn sure almost all of it applies. Some details may change here and there, but the parts you learn in school are pretty much set in stone.
