Because there is no such thing as female wizards. Wizards are by definition male. Witches female. Sorcerer or sorceress. Male. Female. P to the V. Tea bag. Clam slam Oxford english dictionary defines the noun version of witch to be a woman who is thought to have evil magic powers Oxford english dictionary defines wizard as a man who has magic powers Before you ask the oxford english dictionary is more correct than any other dictionary because it traces the orgin of words

That is total bloody, narrow minded, ignorant nonsense. Apparently people's entire knowledge of witches, wicca and Paganism are bases from Harry f**cking Potter, and a poorly written dictionary definition showing the power of centuries of Christian propaganda. Oh sod it, I give up...

Good rebuttal! However, Destiny is based in an alternate reality, similar to our universe, where any number of possibilities could occur. That being said, your facts are limited to our plane of existence. The Oxford Dictionary could've once existed, but was destroyed and the fragments recovered could've mislead guardians to such a misconception. Or the Oxford Dictionary could've never existed at all. It is only speculation. Must be confirmed by Bungie.

Awesome rebuttal, however we are playing in our universe on this plane of existance. We can't help if Bungie -blam!-ed it up and is calling them by the wrong names to solidify definitionally incorrect canon. Female = witch, male =wizard. The confusion looks like they are trying to get down with the current transgender agenda trend or something. I see your point, yet anyone saying it is still correct.

You're* And no, you are wrong. A wizard can be female. A witch can be male (some will refer themselves as a warlock). Google it, then reply back with an apology on how stupid you made yourself look.

  • Please cite where you're seeing that information. Everything I've found justifies calling them Witches and not solely based on gender either.

  • Point you were making? The only point you were making was telling the guy you replied to he was wrong and needed to get educated. You also mentioned witches can be male. While that is true, the subject here is that the Wizards in game should not be called Wizards. The term is masculine. Sorceress would have fit better, or enchantress. However, due to the nature of the game and how they are depicted they would be considered Witches. My guess is they retained their classification regardless of turning to darkness. Then again, this is a fantasy world where Bungie can use whatever terminology they want.

Yes u can. U can start a sentence with whatever u want. Just teachers didn't let u do it in grade school, probably around 6th or 5th and lower, because it wasn't proper writing based on old writing styles that have simply passed down. Many writers use And to begin a sentence cause they can do wtf they want. It's writing. Who cares.
