Hey Valens.
What error code are you receiving when you're getting kicked to orbit? (or to title screen?)

like the error code mattters

It varies, sometimes kicked to title, other times to character screen, and also just to orbit. We have recurve almost every code but today was cockatoo, beaver, and I believe baboon back to back and she could not reconnect. In the past we have received two different codes (one on each system) at the same time when kicked together. Have reset our modem also and doesn't stop the codes.

Mkay. To verify, are you running off a wired or wireless connection? Also how old/what make is your router?

So of the three error codes you mentioned, two are related to disconnects. I'll explain: Beaver is not really in your control, as it represents a disconnect in the peer-to-peer service that most of Bungie's matchmaking runs off. IE you're losing connection to the host of the game instance, which can have a myriad of causes from your local networking to his local networking to how the ISPs interact. However, error code baboon is caused by packet loss between you and the Destiny servers, meaning you have a leak in your connection that is blocking certain relevant data from reaching your console. Again, this can have a myriad of sources. I highly suggest wiring both yours and your wife's console directly into your modem. In addition, you may want to take a look at the Bungie Network Toubleshooting Guide to use as a checklist. Network troubleshooting is often about narrowing down as many possibilities as possible. So while that Guide is mostly general knowledge for any gamer, it's useful as a list to check against. Lastly, I'd look up reviews/stats on your current Comcast Router as it pertains to games. (Hz can be a factor here) This comes from personal experience. I too run off comcast and in February of this year was hitting multitudes of baboon, centipede, and rabbit. Purchasing a new router with a better Hz and connectivity rating fixed those problems for me. You may notice I'm suggesting only fixes for your local network. Short of contacting your ISP, this is what we as gamers have direct control over. Rather than mince words about where the fault for the disconnects lie, I'd rather help you create an ironclad local network so when issues arise we can discount it entirely. (this can also help the various troubleshooting teams if you're hitting a serious problem beyond your local network) Good luck and if you need any additional clarification or information feel free to replay here.
