It's not. All I got was grimoire points and a legendary engram out of the end chest.

I did it too. Just saying it could be a prerequisite to the eventual quest, just like the fusion relics you had to find before you could do the Sleeper mission. That'd be cool. Getting that ghost seemed more significant than just... A few faction rep points. But who knows?
