I deliberately bought a legacy today as figure that it was worth getting a blue print for year 2 exotic weapons.
I know there's a chance you'll get a year 1 only but it worked out and I've now got a year 2 Thunderlord :)

Nice finished leveling mine last night on xp now I just need the weapon parts..... Bought my year 1 lord from Xur right before TTK, just in time to have Year 2 open up bam!
