YOU'RE. Seriously, how are so many people incapable of understanding that "your" is possessive and not the contraction of "you are"?!
The internet has ruined grammar, and the damage might be irreparable.

No boring ass old leather hand bag looking English teachers ruined grammar my friend. They made it a sleep class, not a "I really wanna learn" class.

Learning grammar isn't the most fun thing in the universe. But it's still beneficial to know and use properly. I had boring English teachers, too, but I still learned. The Internet seems to propagate the misuse of your and you're, there and their and they're, etc. It's definitely the place where I see the errors made most commonly.

Is it really that bad?! I mean we're not trying to put novels together here.... I mean if I was writing my dissertation, then of course I'd want it to be perfect. But I can live with utter failures here like autocorrect or retarded fingers lol It's just a forum on the Internet, KCCO my friend!

I'm not sure what KCCO means. If you could enlighten me, i'd appreciate it. And sure, autocorrect errors happen. I get that. But with all the replies and notifications and subsequent replies written by him I know he's seen it. If he knew it was an error I feel like he'd have fixed it. I know I would. And yes, it's not a formal paper. But those kinds of errors are BASIC grammar.

I especially like it when someone corrects someone's spelling and gets called a grammar na[i]z[/i]i. Epitome of stupidity right there.
