I agree with a lot of this. Sunbreakers are very powerful in their super state. Honestly the real issue with nerf/buff is where the line is drawn in PvE and PvP. If you nerf their overshield for PvP reasons, their PvE effectiveness suffers. Sunbreakers need to be approached cautiously if any more fixes are applied to them so that they still remain a fun class and a viable option for those that main the titan.
I main a warlock and simply adore Stormcaller. I use transcendence, which allows you to extend your supers duration provided you are mindful of your melee and grenade, in hopes of making those big plays in PvP. Win some you lose some in that department. However this perk shines mostly in PvE. If I am close to being killed I can panic super and if I meet the requirements of transcendence I can fully heal myself instantly on top of high mob clearing potential. Stormtrance is all about that mob control. And it does the job very effectively.
Nightstalker is truly not given enough credit. People are so used to the offensive supers that a support/defensive one throws them off. Shadowshot is not meant to be a killing super. It is meant to open up a window for you and your teammates. When I do use my Nightstalker in Crucible (which I am really suck at most of the time) I never aim for the kill. If I kill with it, that is fine. But if I hear a bad super go off I shoot at the environment around the opponents. If I played my super properly then I shut down their super and opened up a window for my allies. Heavy ammo about to drop? Let me see if I can deny the opposing team of heavy by placing a tether on a ammo crate before picking them off. Simply put, Shadowshot, while still being able to kill in PvP, is better used creating openings for your teammates. Though the infinite super NEEDS to go! I should not be tethered by the same dude four times in a row.

First off, it's nice to find another guardian who knows the values of formal writing. I agree with what you said. I mentioned earlier that I haven't had the chance to use the Stormcaller. I also agree with what you said regarding the PvE/PvP balancing, Bungie will need to be very careful if anymore alterations are made.

Thank you. It is appreciated. The nerf/buff of a game's mechanics are not an easy thing to approach. Sometimes a nerf is not the answer to a mechanic. Same goes for a buff. Before any changes are made things need to be looked at closely. Golden Gun was buffed several patches ago so that it can reliably kill in PvP. THIS was a good example of lines being drawn. This buff took place in the PvP meta with no change to the PvE meta. Perhaps a buff to Golden Gun is once again require in the PvP meta? Should the Sunbreaker receive a slight reduce in their overshield? If you ask me the former seems a better choice since Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc can reliably deny a HoS. As for trying Stormcaller, it truly is GOD at mob clearing. Superconductor + Transcendence have perfect synergy with each other. If you are mindful of your grenade and melee when using Stormtrance you can wipe out most if not all the adds you encounter in PvE. And the instant health regen truly gives you a panic super to keep you alive. Though in PvP you are better off going into your super behind cover. The key is to remain mobile to mitigate damage from adds not currently being electrocuted by your super. Other than that it is a toss up between electrostatic mind and arc web. If you hug your fireteam a lot then electrostatic will help your super recharge. If you want your grenades to clear mobs better then arc web is a solid choice as it really gives you more crowd control with your grenades.

I still think the Golden Gun should be a one shot kill no matter what class and subclass combination someone is using. That's what it's designed to be: A high powered, long range gun with three rounds that has a guarantee to one shot any other guardians in the crucible, so long as you're on point with your shots. I won't be making anymore comments regarding the Stormcaller as I feel it would be unfair to criticise a subclass and super without actually playing it. It wouldn't be professional to produce an opinion without having any real experience, that would be biased.
