Not in the slightest, because you do not know which round is the lucky one. And if you aim ALL your shots at a body, hoping the lucky round goes off, you are one really bad sniper.

  • if your aiming at the head why would you want this perk?! people abuse this perk just like final round, its not random if you ear the luck in the chamber shot people go body and reload as soon as they ear that noise. it might not be as bad as final round but its still game breaking.

  • Done with explaining this. I no way is this similar to final round and there is no "abuse". Present this to your math teacher and then get back to this forum. Bye.

  • You can say this all you want your headshot % on destiny tracker is 60%. Get real it happens. Every sniper hits body shot every now and then. The only difference is this sniper will give u a free kill every now and then. Its not as easy to abuse as final round but no sniper should one shot when hitting body shots. As i side note, im on the forum to express my opinion and discuss facts if you just come on the forum to tell everyone to stfu you are doing it wrong. Try and discuss and learn from other people it makes the game better for everyone! Cheers mate!

I am not telling everyone to Stfu. Pointing out that people are screaming "OP" and "abuse" without any basis. Discuss facts all you want. But you need to understand basic math in this particular case, without that understanding you cannot discuss facts. So a challenge for you: My headshot percenatage is 60%. What are the chances, when I am playing ToO coming Friday, to body shot (ohk) my opponent 3 times in a row? Good luck. Oh, and one edit: After done the math. What is exactly the "abuse"? In all the discussions, nobody came up with a clear example. Challenge nr.2!

Honestly people compare luck in the chamber with final round. Off coarse its not AS broken as final round. Although its not as easy to abuse as final round it's still very predictable (because of the sound that luck in the chamber makes). You will still get kills you shouldn't get cause you OHK on a body shot. So for your challenge number 1 your odds are about 2% to OHK 3 players in a row. And your right thats not something you can rely on. Scenario 1 Consider 2 different players both with a headshot % of 60, Player 1 uses luck in the chamber and Player 2 doesn't. Player 1 will get roughly 10% more killing blows from his shots than the other one just because of luck in the chamber without playing differently. Scenario 2 Consider something else, lets say I fire off one shot at the beginning of each round if i ear the sound I reload and fire another shot. Now with 3 rounds in the mag, the odds of my first shot OHK you is about 33%, then 50%, then 100% for my third shot (nothing prevents you from shooting 2 shots instead of 1 to take the 33% chance out). Hitting body shots is much easier then going for headshots, the best example for this is final round : bad snipers have beaten decent and even good snipers just because they final rounded. Most of the time you wont have a chance to shoot if the other person is going for body shots. The perk is not as bad as final round but it is without a doubt predictable and therefor broken.

  • Good discussion :-) Point is that the chance is "reset" every time you reload, which limits any "abuse" severely. In a competative setting like Trials (I do not believe IB to be 'competative', I do not think there is room for such abuse, given the pace and availability of special ammo. In 6v6 you have more time and more time to calculate your shots if you want. Even then, it is much easier to get consistent headshots than do the whole reload and count trick. Thanks!

  • I do agree your are better off learning to snipe lol. Ive found special ammo to be much more abundant in trials as you can just camp your special ammo boxes each round... thats why people final rounded in the first place... I just dont believe snipers should have 1 shot body shot perks.
