No that doesn't effect your loot drops. Don't spam in your exotic engrams, do 1 and wait till it goes away from left side. Even if you keep getting same guns at different times it's rng what it decodes into

Yeah I only do one at a time. I even leave the Cryptarch menu when doing exotics and make sure they are the last thing I turn in.
