I like the little abridged vanilla story. A tip from me, if you would like one is this:don't tell us the name of the other characters, have the main character learn it with the reader.

Good idea, in the basic draft I didn't have the means of the other 2 at the start.

Even if it's a small paragraph on the main asking the next person who they are, or its a mystery that takes 2 chapters, you should do it next time around.
