I feel like the only flaw of this system is that it would adjust to one's potential right when they're born. So to the final value they will have, kind of.
Just imagine being 5 years old and having a low value, that would be discouraging as hell.

They'd still have a value, but it will be low in kids simply because they haven't physically matured and developed skills. Their value would be higher than other kids if they had more mental/physical potential though. Would you expect a 5 year old to be thinking about that?

True. I guess a 5 year old would not be a good example. But didn't you also say that the number would at first be based on the potential they have? So how about somebody just about to leave highschool, and their number marks them having a low potential. Wouldn't that bring you down?

You see, raw brainpower would not be the deciding factor. Rating could be boosted by various other things. Remember, this is everything about the person considered.
