5 RepliesThis has gotta be a joke. Destiny's beta was a closed beta, open only to those who pre ordered. Battlefront was open to everyone. If 9 million people played the open beta for Battlefront, then just a couple million more than that will be playing at launch. Destiny had 17 million launch. I know it lost a few players during year one, but the majority stayed and others came during year two. TL;DR? Nah. Destiny isn't going anywhere.

Battlefront was super meh. I loved the old battlefront for the nostalgia. New battlefront is weird and I focus more on finding the icons for random vehicles and such more than fighting. It was cool to see starwars look even better than the movie, just really meh.

5 RepliesSo? Destiny still has a dedicated fan base. The thing is anything with star wars will automatically have more people drawn to it than almost anything else, even if it's not that good. While battlefront is good, it won't kill destiny.

1 ReplyBecause it's Star Wars and I assure you there are more hardcore Star Wars fans than destiny has. It was a free beta too, hence, anyone can play. To be completely honest if you're not a drone that blindly supports things..Battlefront is shit! It's Battlefield or Medal of Honor with a Star Wars skin. Yes! It's beautiful but you cannot polish a turd. My friends enjoyed it and I'm happy for them but it's EA and I will not support them and their tactics whatsoever. I don't like criticizing a beta but the game is almost at launch and I'm not giving in to the hype anymore. I'm tired of being disappointed! Speaking of which there aren't any space battles in a Star Wars game?!?!?!? No thanks

1 ReplyYou can't compare Star Wars with anything new. The whole world is fan of Star Wars since 1977. Destiny is a halo borderlands and few other games mixed released one year ago. This is not a surprise.
